Students will have an opportunity to improve career ready skills like collaboration, communication, critical thinking and problem solving. Lego Robotics allows 7th grade students to use computer, math and science skills to teach students to design, program, test and present fully functional robots that carry out life-like automated tasks.
Students will learn how to program their robot to move around. They will investigate how robots use light sensors, gyro sensors, touch sensors, and ultrasonic sensors.
Students will then work with a partner to complete as many mission on the First Lego League robot game competition board in 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
